We are so excited to share the news about the upcoming Columbia Club of Poland panel discussion with extraordinary experts from tech and healthcare sectors. 

Please join the discussion on “New Tech in Healthcare: Challenges & Opportunities of the Future”  that will take place on Thursday, May 27 at 18:00 CEST on ZOOM.

The panel will feature the following leaders:

- Jędrzej Litwiniuk MHA – CEO of Auxilius Pharma, healthcare executive and corporate finance professional with experiences from such companies as LuxMed, Enterprise Venture Fund and PZU. Graduate of Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.

- Lidia Rudnicka, MD, Ph.D. - Member of the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology, Executive Committee Member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology and President of the Polish Dermatological Society, professor and head at the Department of Dermatology, Medical University of Warsaw. Author or co-author of over 300 publications. 

- Robert Rajewski, MBA, MIA, BS. CEO and co-founder of Polish Venture Fund investing in AI based medtech start-ups. Columbia University graduate and co-founder of Columbia Club of Poland, currently Vice President of the Board. Robert started his professional career at JP Morgan Fixed Income Division in New York.  After that, he worked for Goldman Sachs in London, BCG in Warsaw, and ZEB Consulting in Poland, Ukraine and Russia.  For the last 10 years, independent investor and shareholder of multiple start-ups and VC/PE funds. 

- Andrzej Ryś, MD -  Director responsible for health systems, medical products and innovation Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety, European Commission. Alternate Member of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) Board. Formerly Founder and Director of the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer at Jagiellonian University, Deputy Minister of Health in Poland, Director of Krakow’s Municipal Health Department, Founder and Director of the School of Public Health at the Jagiellonian University.  

The discussion will be moderated by Columbia Club of Poland Board Member Kamilla Spark, corporate finance advisor specializing in finance, investment management and governance. Currently Non-Executive Director and Member of the Finance Subcommittee at the National Union of Students (NUS) UK; Accelerate Cambridge Coach, MSt Entrepreneurship Mentor and Finance Workshop Leader at the Entrepreneurship Centre, Cambridge Judge Business School. Previously Director at Mezzanine Management, banker at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Senior Advisor to the Board at NFI Foksal SA (listed, closed-end investment fund).
